The power of the full moon time is produced by a direct inflow of energy from the sun into human consciousness. This provides a vivid outer symbol of an inner spiritual reality. Please join us in these meditations for humanity and all life on our planet. The network of these Spiritual Festivals has now spread over the world. During the full moon period spiritual energy is more directly available in this spiritual alignment. A "door" stands open and inspiration flows through into our consciousness. At the full moon time we can develop skills for inner listening. We can become sensitive to impressions from the soul and receptive to intuitive spiritual experiences. By working together in spiritual dimensions, we can create a channel that uplifts and irradiates all aspects of life. Today countless groups meet regularly throughout the world during the period of each full moon for meditation. These group meditations are a service to humanity and over the last century a group channel to distribute spiritual energy has been created which demands of us a continually deeper understanding and an increased ability to penetrate to new levels of consciousness. These group meditations lift the consciousness of humanity as a whole. The direct and unimpeded alignment between the earth and the sun enables us to perceive some part of the Plan for the evolution of humanity and to recognize our role in this Plan. You are invited to join in meditation with us. We come to give - not to receive. In these meditations we use the power of this worldwide group channel. The annual zodiac cycle reveals and expands the life of the soul. In each journey you can recall qualities already learned, and draw in new qualities. Each full moon has the potential to produce needed changes in consciousness that will make humans truly divine. It offers specific energies that are helpful to all souls. Humanity is in a state of turmoil today in preparation for a great step forward in self-conscious unfoldment. Advanced humanity (the disciples of the world) are equally in a state of turmoil. They are being tested and tried, prior to taking a major step forward. They have the capacity to respond to tests, to a larger vision and use the personality to aid in the human reorientation from the material focus to a spiritual focus. These meditations vitalize and magnify the key qualities that each of the twelve signs embodies. They enable groups to make contact with the Shining Teachers, the Masters of Humanity. Extra planetary energies stream into the Hierarchy who steps them down and distributes them to humanity. Group meditations provide an opportunity to "seed" these new concepts within the minds of humanity. Focusing on qualities pouring into the planet during each of the 12 annual cycles increases their impact to reveal the path to get through the crises of the human soul. These group meditations are based on the science of energy, which recognizes that all is energy and energy follows thought. Even the smallest atom of substance contains within it that which can respond to spiritual energy and stimulation. Suggestions for individual and group meditation 2. Make notations on thoughts or ideas that come to you. These can appear as knowledge, wisdom, understanding, or inspiration. Even if you think nothing happened, you may find that in a few days new ideas will appear to you. Assume that some kind of impression has been received in your higher mind and it is circling overhead waiting for a place to land. 3. Develop the ability to listen within as you go about your daily schedule. This is a similar process to remembering an important dream. The frequencies of dream realities are different than the rational concrete mind. This transference process requires stillness and patience, along with an optimistic attitude. Once your conscious brain can align with the higher mind and soul, the stream of light can reach you as words and picture symbols. 4. Following each spiritual impact, look for ways to create a better life, to encourage the essence or soul life of yourself and of those you can reach. Look for ways to free up time by identifying the essentials (and non-essentials) in your life. These ideas can be exceptionally simple, something that can be begun without a great fanfare of money or time or staff. Usually, we see practical possibilities that were invisible before, suddenly become obvious. 5. The entire zodiac can be understood from the angle of light. This light is the inner light of the soul. Its unfolding radiance is the manifestation of our divine nature. A study of the 12 different lights for each of the constellations of the zodiac reveals the symbolic story of the growth of the light body, within the Soul of Humanity and within each of us. This gradually reveals the purpose of God 7. The rhythmic nature of the soul's meditation is like the ebb and flow in all nature. In the tides of the ocean we have a clear picture of an eternal law... and the cyclic response to soul impulses lies back of a morning meditation, a noon re-alignment, and an evening review. Bailey) The most significant part of effective work during the spiritual festivals is to become aligned and integrated as a group (even if you do not know your spiritual group on the physical plane, imagine yourself with these souls) with an open mind to the Hierarchy and the Christ as head of the Hierarchy. Form a channel of light in your imagination to better serve humanity with meditation, Work imaginatively and know yourself as a member of the new group of world servers, dedicated to world service. Spiritually and telepathically the group is one, and the work is one. The effect of meditation is invoking higher, spiritual energies and place these energies within the world of men. This double activity is the secret of creative meditation. It invokes the higher energies,and creates a channel of contact between soul and spirit. It also evokes and creates dynamic movements within humanity for needed changes. 2010 Moon ChartIn all meditation it is of value for the student to remember that, from the standpoint of permanent benefit, it is easier to meditate effectively during the period from the new moon to the full moon, than from the full moon to the new moon. The first half of the lunar cycle is one of intensification, absorption and accretion; the second half is one of assimilation and distribution. More real progress over a long period can be made by observing this cyclic law. Wisely using newly acquired energies keeps inflowing and out-flowing channels open and prevents emotional, mental and psychical congestion which may otherwise be experienced, with their accompanying physical consequences.
