Keynote for Leo: "I am That - and That I am."

You are invited to join us for the Leo/Sirius Spiritual Festival meditation cycle beginning August 1 at the new moon and continuing until two days after the full moon of Leo. Our opportunity during the Leo Solar Festival is to:

1. Serve as group transmitters to meet the need.
2. Become interpreters and increase the capacity of humans to respond and to understand.
3. Help anchor a new level of Love, the substance behind spiritual manifestation.

4. Realize that expansions of consciousness are possible now that are not possible at other times.

MEDITATION FOR LEO

We use this meditation as the moon moves out of the way of the sun (new moon to full moon). This is the period each month when extraplanetary energies are available. We meditate at the precise hour of the full moon or within 12 hours preceding it. Many groups are meditating around the world and all these invocations release certain spiritual energies that powerfully affect humanity and stimulate the spirit of Love. The effect of the combined meditation during the full moons is to create a pathway for this great light to guide humanity in wise decisions. It is during the period from the new moon to the full moon that the Plan for humanity is more clearly visible in meditation.

1. Enter into inner stillness -- with quietness and seven deep breaths, sound the sacred word of OM seven times. Align the light of your body, emotions, and mind with the soul.

2. Link with all spiritual groups, realizing that you are part of this growing world group seeking to aid humanity through meditation and service.

3. Say aloud:
"At the center of all Love we stand:
From that center, we, the soul, will outward move;
From that center, we, the ones who serve, will work.
May the love of the divine Self be shed abroad
In our heart, through our group, and throughout the world."

4. Link with the Hierarchy of Masters.

5. Link with the energy of divine Love streaming from the Great Sun Sirius.

6. Visualize the one World Soul. Focusing deeply within, open to the flame of the soul that is ignited by this powerful spiritual energy and hold the seed thought in silence for 10 minutes:

"May Divine Love stream into all our human minds and hearts."

7. Sound the Great Invocation. Repeat the last line of each stanza and visualize the light, or the love, or the will of God streaming to humanity.

The Great Invocation (Original )

From the point of Light within the mind of God,
Let Light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on earth.

From the point of Love within the heart of God,
Let Love stream forth into the hearts of men.
May Christ return to earth.

From the center where the Will of God is known,
Let Purpose guide the little wills of men,
the Purpose which the Masters know and serve.

From the center which we call the human race,
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out,
and may it seal the door where evil dwells.

Let light and love and power restore the Plan on earth.

During the five days of intensive effort in service during the festival of Leo, 2 days before, the day of, and 2 days after the full moon.

1. Focus on the need of humanity for a new direction.

2. Focus on the necessity of providing a group channel--for the spiritual forces to be poured through the whole body of humanity under the expert guidance of the members of the Hierarchy.

3. Make a definite decision to overcome all obstacles to your usefulness as a channel of spiritual light and love.

4. Seek to dwell ever at the center during the week of the Leo full moon.

5. Seek to blend the personality light with the clear light of the soul.

6. Arrange your affairs so that the week of this Leo full moon can yield to you the fullest opportunity to cooperate. Use good judgment and skill in action as you seek to awaken your immediate circle to the importance of these five days.

7. Arrange to be in meditation, ideally with a group of 3 or more, at the exact time of this full moon so you may best use the energies available, and take advantage of the vortex of force that is generated.

8. Use spiritual forces to create a public demand for cooperation with the divine Plan rather than the separative plans of a group or a country.

9. Use prayer, illumined thought and intense aspiration for good in the world. Focus on distributing spiritual energy to humanity.

Humanity is in a state of turmoil today in preparation for a great step forward in self-conscious unfoldment. This is obvious by a growing sense of responsibility, the first flower and fruit of self-conscious awareness. Advanced humanity and the disciples of the world are equally in a state of turmoil. They are being tested and tried, in preparation for a major step forward. The capacity is within to respond to tests, to sense the vision and to respond to the love streaming through the constellation of Leo.

Leo energies are the time to recognize responsibilities to the Self--and to the whole. Our personality mind and emotions first rule our lives -- until we yield to the wisdom of the soul and later to the Monad, the One. This energy brings us back to our originating source.

When we begin to feel the energy of the Pointer star of the Great Bear and register a sense of right direction and guidance, we are given an opportunity to recover the lost knowledge that leads us to the hierarchy of Masters. As we achieve alignment, a direct inflow of divine energy links us in a new and creative way to sources of divine supply.

In Leo we become conscious of the individual sun within. Once our individuality is fully developed and used, we shift our life focus to divine purpose. These energies bring independence and interdependence. They bring true Self-awareness. In Leo the duality of life is represented in the Sphinx, the lion with a human head.

KNOW YOURSELF - a major theme of Leo energies. Only the true self-conscious person can understand his innate divinity and thus honor the divinity of his fellow men. The series of human rights developed through the centuries demonstrate the beginning recognition of the divinity of others. The UN Declaration of Human Rights lists the divine rights of individuals.

The love that is redeeming humanity is coming from the Great Sun Sirius, the home of the Great White Lodge. Our system is not yet ready for the full impact of this vibration so it comes through the Hierarchy of Masters and is then directed to humanity.
